A meeting of Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has got underway in Kiev.

According to a message posted on the Ukrainian government’s website, Davutoglu arrived in Ukraine at the invitation of Ukrainian Prime Minister Yatsenyuk. It is expected that the meeting of the two prime ministers that will be focusing on security matters and the signing of an agreement on duty-free imports of goods will be followed by a news conference.

Davutoglu is also expected to meet Vladimir Groisman, Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, and Mustafa Jemilev, Leader of Crimean Tatars and Advisor to Ukrainian President on Crimean Tatar Affairs.

On his visit to Ukraine Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is accompanied by Vice Prime Minister Yalchyn Akdogan, Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz, Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavushoglu, Economic Minister Mustafa Elitash, Transport, Maritime and Communication Minister Binali Yildirym and Energy and Natural Resources Minister Berat Albayrak.
