The state budget of Ukraine provides for an increase in the financing of the Crimean House, People's Deputy of Ukraine Georgy Logvinsky stated in an interview with QHA.

In particular, according to him, about half a million hryvnias are programmed in the draft budget. However, the Human Rights Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine considers this amount insufficient and has already appealed the Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman to increase this appropriation to 15 million.

“Also, we (members of the Human Rights Committee) will demand the state to increase funding for the needs of lawyers of political prisoners illegally detained in Russia and annexed Crimea,” Logvinsky said.

It should be noted that the state enterprise Crimean House brings together a number of public organizations engaged in Crimean issues under its roof.

Earlier, on December 8, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading and in general the bill No. 7000 "On the State Budget for 2018".

273 people's deputies voted for the decision.

The document provides for the following macro indicators for 2018: GDP growth by 3% at 9% inflation. The minimum wage, according to the draft budget for 2018, should increase by 16%, up to UAH 3723.
