The 27-year-old Crimean Tatar Elina Mamedova detained yesterday in the occupied Crimea in Yalta was released on recognizance not to leave the country, the public association Crimean Solidarity reported on Facebook.

“The relatives reported that Elina Mamedova had just been released on recognizance not to leave the country,” the report says.

QHA reported that the security forces conducted a search in the house of Elina Mamedova on June 13. She was taken to the FSB Directorate in Yalta, where she was interrogated.

The Crimean Tatar woman is suspected of committing a crime under part 2 of Art. 280 (public calls for the implementation of extremist activities) of the Russian Criminal Code.
