Only one human rights defender from Simferopol was allowed to see Evgeny Panov, and all cases of so-called "Ukrainian saboteurs" were passed to him as well.

According to the lawyer, Dmitry Dinze, his colleague and he were forced to wait for several hours in jail, and later they were denied to get acquainted with the results of examinations. At the same time representative of the Russian Federal Security Service FSB told the lawyers, that only one particular defender would be allowed to the prisoner.

Evgeny Panov, who is currently kept in the detention center "Lefortovo", did not get most of parcels and letters from relatives, according to the prisoner’s brother Igor Kotelyanets, reports Investigative Journalism Center with reference to the Crimean advocacy group.

Evgeny Panov is held in jail "Lefortovo" in Moscow, where he was transferred in early October from Simferopol. In Moscow, a Russian lawyer Dmitry Dinze, who previously defended Oleg Sentsov, became a defender of the detained Ukrainian.

Evgeny Panov was arrested in Crimea in early August. He was charged with the alleged subversive activities and sentenced to two months imprisonment. On basis of this arrest, the Russian special services accused Ukraine of plotting terrorist attacks in Crimea.
