The Moscow State University of Railways of the Emperor Nicholas II (MIIT) and the Moscow State University named after Lomonosov  intend to send 90 students to the occupied Crimea in summer for the bridge construction, the Crimean publication reported with reference to the project owner - the administration of the federal highways "Taman".

“In 2017, according to agreements signed by Rosavtodor [Russian federal road agency]with MIIT and Moscow State University, 90 construction team members (60 from MIIT and 30 from Moscow State University) will take part in the construction of the facilities,” the company's press service says.

It is noted that the practice of Russian construction students in the occupied peninsula provides for free accommodation and meals.

“A five-day working week with an eight-hour working day is waiting for future specialists. They are provided with free accommodation and three meals a day.”

The owner-company promises "cultural and educational program" to students as well - at the weekend they will be able to meet with the leaders of the bridge construction project, and attend trainings and excursions.

Earlier, at the end of January, the Russian government appointed Stroygazmontazh Ltd, owned by Arkady Rothenberg, the friend of the President of the country-occupier Putin, the only executor in the construction of railway approaches to the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait from the occupied Crimea.

Previously, the federal railway transport agency of Russia three times announced a tender for the development of a plan and construction of approaches to the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait. All the attempts failed because of the lack of applications.
