The Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Affairs of Crimean Tatars, People's Deputy of Ukraine Mustafa Dzhemilev paid a one-day visit to Turkey Republic on July 4.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will receive a visit from Mr. Dzhemilev at the presidential residence, according to Bloomberg.

Mustafa-aga has already met with Polish ambassadors to Turkey within his visit. The issue of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea was one of the main topics of discussion.

Dzhemilev told about the deportation of 1944, the Crimean Tatar national movement, the annexation of the Crimea and the current situation of the Crimean Tatar people on the air of the TRT Turkish state television channel.

Turkey provides tangible support to the Crimean Tatars and continues not to recognize the annexation of the peninsula, despite the normalization of relations with Russia, Mustafa Dzhemilev stresses.

“Salvation of the Crimea should be achieved diplomatically, and not by force of arms. And Allah bless it would happen," he said.

The meeting of Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Mustafa Dzhemilev will take place at about 6:30 pm local time.

Earlier QHA reported that on June 28 Mustafa Dzhemilev had taken part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition of cultural and historical heritage of the Crimean Tatar people within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, where the Days of the Crimea had been held.
