The residents of Crimea's city of Yalta held full-fledged celebrations of Russia Day, following peninsula’s annexation in March 2014.

Big Russian flag, 50 metres long, was laid at the square.

Impressive show was performed both in the air and on the water, among them water scooter, wakeboarding and flyboard shows.

There was also show of Russian Air Force fighters "Russian Knights". The fighters made numerous maneuvers and “draw a flower in the air”.

Russian permanent singers, such as Nadezhda Kadysheva, Diana Gurtskaya, Nargiz Zakirova, Stas Mikhaylov, Grigoriy Leps   and others performed for Crimean audience.

Crimean Tatar national song and dance ensemble ‘Haytarma’ also performed at the event.

Crimean peninsula joined Russian Federation in March, 2014.
