In Donetsk, workers of the mine and the Yenakiyevo Metallurgical Plant are not paid wages and severance pay, which provokes a protest mood and discontent with the criminal "power" of the region, the coordinator of the group "Information Resistance" Dmitry Tymchuk reported.
According to Tymchuk, there is an aggravation of the socio-political situation in the ORDO, related to the Yenakiyevo Metallurgical Plant work stoppage and the dismissal of all workers. He notes that they were not provided with severance pay and contribution to the pension fund. Moreover, the dismissed factory workers can not apply to employment centers.
“Employment centers can not accrue funds in accordance with the percentage of wages for the last year, thereby the employees of the enterprise will receive only minimal assistance in the amount of 1200 UAH. As a result, among the representatives of this category of citizens there is growing dissatisfaction with the activities of the "DPR" and calls for protest actions in defense of their rights are observed.”
Furthermore, Tymchuk spoke about the situation at the mine named after A.A. Skochinsky in Donetsk. Due to the lack of supplies from the territories under Ukraine's control, coal mining has sharply decreased, which does not allow carrying out the necessary work, therefore, the payment of wages is delayed. The last time the miners received money in February 2017.
“The management of the mine promises the workers to organize the supply of timber from the territory of the Russian Federation, the restoration of coal production and the payment of wages "in the very near future." At the same time, the curators from the "DPR Ministry of Public Security" note the high protest potential among the mine workers at the mine named after A.A.Skochinsky in the reports to management and recommend to take urgent measures on payment of arrears on wages.”
Eaerlier QHA reported that the situation with rail transportation has also aggravated in the "DPR" due to the inability of the leaders of the occupation authorities to independently resolve the issues of the region's economic development.
