The 2017 Eurovision organizing committee will be established in Ukraine, according to the relevant draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

“The Cabinet hereby resolves to establish an organizing committee on preparation and holding the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Ukraine, with the membership according to the attached annex,” reads the document. 

Reportedly, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman is invited to be Chairman of the organizing committee, which will also include members of the government, heads of a number of law enforcement agencies, MPs, as well as representatives of the Presidential Administration, local authorities, public organizations and mass media.

It was reported earlier that Jamala, winner of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, will be the headliner at the Bandershtadt festival to be held in Lutsk on August 5-7.
