On the morning of April 13, the RF security forces arrived in Bakhchysarai to search the homes of Crimean Tatars Seydamet Mustafayev and Riza Muzhdabaev, according to the message of journalist Shevket Namatullaev on Facebook.

The journalist pointed that nearby roads were blocked by traffic police officers.

“The morning of Crimean Tatars in Bakhchysarai again began with searches. Armed Russian security officers broke into the houses of Seydamet Mustafayev and Riza Muzhdabaev, who live in 6 and 7 neighbourhoods. The security officers did not explain the purpose of their early visit to the neighbors. The roads are blocked by Road Patrol Service, most likely, to avoid people coming to support the guys. And those who still come may be detained for not obeying the "legitimate" demand of the policemen.”

After some time, the Russian security officers began beating the Crimean Tatars, who came to support their neighbor, with clubs. Shots were heard.

Four people - the son and father of Mustafa and Shevket Abduramanov, Eskender Memetov (the son of political prisoner Remzi Memetov) and Remzi Zudiev - were detained and taken away. The forces of Russian Guard of the Russian Federation also came to the place.
The occupiers do not give any comments about the purposes or reasons for the searches.

“The security officers used force. One Crimean Tatar fell unconscious after a hit with a club. Eyewitnesses speak about shots. The Crimean Tatars, who came to support the searched men, were detained, forced into a paddy wagon, and were most likely taken to the local police station.
Russian Guard forces together with the OMON arrived to the place of the search as well. In the Crimea, Russian security forces have never practiced this before.”

The journalist also published video from the scene.

The wife of Riza Muzhdabaev in the video published by the activist Server Mustafaev said that she was going to work in the morning when representatives of the OMON and Russian Guard rushed into the house. Only last night the family took a newborn granddaughter from the hospital.

A few minutes ago, lawyer Jemil Temishev and human rights activists came to the house of Riza Muzhdabaev.

One of the detained Midat Muzhdab is taken to the District Office of Internal Affairs for drawing up a protocol. Indifferent citizens are urged to gather near the court of the city of Bakhchysarai to support him and the rest of the detainees.

An eyewitness of the morning events Server Mustafayev published a photo of the cartridges found at the scene. He said that Russian law enforcers beat civilians with batons on faces.
