People's Deputy of Ukraine and the Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov is ready to make proposals on Crimea to the law on reintegration.

The politician made a corresponding statement in a commentary to Hayat Radio.

“There will be a preparation for the second reading. I do not know what will be the other proposals from my colleagues. At least, I'm already thinking about my proposals, and we will put them forward. Still, their being taken into account will depend on the hall. But the most important thing is that the issue of restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine should be a single formula, and this should be reflected in the state's approaches to securing sovereignty throughout its territory," the Mejlis Chairman said.

Earlier today, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a presidential bill in the first reading on the reintegration of Donbas.

President Petro Poroshenko at a meeting of the "Petro Poroshenko Bloc" faction agreed that the draft law on securing sovereignty over the temporarily occupied territories of the Donbas should include the issue of the Crimea as well.
