The Simferopol "court" changed the measure of restraint from custody in the pretrial detention center into house arrest for Ali Asanov and Mustafa Degermendzhi, the Crimean Tatars, detained by occupants in the "February 26 case", according to the lawyer Edem Semedlyaev.

“Ali Asanov and Mustafa Degermendzhi had their measures of restraint changed for house arrest,” the representative of the defense informed on Facebook.

Reference: Six Crimean Tatars were arrested on charges of mass riots during a rally on February 26, 2014, outside the Crimean Supreme Council. Two of them, Mustafa Degermendzhi and Ali Asanov, were until recently held in Simferopol SIZO-1, Akhtem Chiygoz is still in jail, and the rest - Eskender Kantemirov, Arsen Yunusov and Eskender Emirvaliyev - await the verdict at home, being bailed out.
