During the working visit of the delegation led by the European Commissioner Johannes Khan to Donbas, the Head of the Donetsk military civil administration Pavel Zhebrivsky spoke about the state of the infrastructure in the Donetsk region:

“Eight settlements in the region have been destroyed to the extent that they can not be restored. Also, one of the main problems in the region is mine threat,” the press service of the Verkhovna Rada reported.

In turn, during a visit to Shirokino Donetsk, European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Johannes Khan said that the EU is considering giving € 50 million to Ukraine for the implementation of humanitarian projects and restoration of the city infrastructure of Donbas.
The President's Humanitarian Envoy for the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions Irina Gerashchenko commented on the EU plans during the visit:

“We highly appreciate the assistance of the European Union in the restoration of the damaged infrastructure facilities in the Donbas. Undoubtedly, this is an invaluable contribution to the solution of humanitarian problems of local residents affected by the military aggression of the Russian Federation.”

It should be noted that, in total, over the past few years, the European Commission has provided about € 400 million of aid to Ukraine, including for the implementation of humanitarian projects.

Reportedly, the US inspection team, consisting of seven observers, will conduct an inspection during the week in the ATO zone and in the occupied Crimea.
